Athletics switcher for SCAN’O’VISION, indoor
The indoor version of the athletics switcher serves two finish lines at once. Two photofinish cameras with their laptops, primary and secondary, are set on the 60 m sprint in the control room, and a second pair covers the 200 m track either from the control room or from the infield.
Through the same box run the false start system, the timing scoreboards, the finish photocells at 60 m and 200 m, the intermediate photocells at 1500 m and the officials’ headsets, with an additional RS422 output for further equipment. The data output is switched between the primary and the secondary camera, and two indicator lamps show whether the cameras are ready.
