Athletics fixed cabling, track

The track version of the fixed cabling covers the whole running programme, not only the finish. Boxes are installed in the timing room, at the finish and at the 100 m, 200 m and 1500 m start positions, with the cable runs laid permanently between them, so that a start system and a telephone can be plugged in at whichever start is in use.

The standard version is for stadiums that operate their own timing. The Pro version adds a second box at the finish and is wired so that a Swiss Timing service crew can connect its own equipment, which is what an international meeting requires.
